Irrigation Race Upgrade North Canterbury

BCP were engage to construct a series of weirs over a kilometre long to a North Canterbury Race upgrade. There were a total of 8 weirs.

Our scope included Civil Works, Formwork Reinforcing and Pump and Place of Concrete

The walls were over a 12 meter span and a height of 3 meters. BCP use Doka formwork system and placed the reinforcing in accordance to structural design. We placed the concrete with our Putzmeister 28m concrete pump. The wing walls were placed using shotcrete.
